Starting from November 1, 2019, to use the ScienceDirect Transaction, you must first register at the Soka University Library and obtain an ID and password. The

new usage is as follows.

[How to use]

 

1.Register for Transaction

To use ScienceDirect Transactions, please send the following mail to the library.

To: sokaulib@soka.ac.jp

Subject: Transaction usage registration

Content:

・ID (undergraduate / graduate student / faculty / office staff)

・Student ID number / Faculty staff number

・Name (Roman characters)

・Campus email address

 

2.Configure the initial settings on the ScienceDirect page

You will receive a registration ID / password from the library. Please configure the settings on the Science Direct page. The process is given in the attachment.

 

3.Download the papers you need

Please download the papers while logged in with the above account.

 

What is a transaction?

This is a contract method in which the university purchases the full text of unsubscribed titles. The University is under a contract that supports downloads up

to a specified number.

 

*This service is not available to correspondence course students, research students, credited auditors, Preparatory Japanese Language Program students, Soka Women's

College students, part time instructors, and off-campus users.

 

*The ID and password will be announced on the next weekday after registration.
